Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa
The quality of the guest experience introduced by the Borgata established the standard for the very best gaming destinations in the eastern United States.
Cope Linder’s role began with the development master plan for the property, which shaped the ultimate design, accommodating the complex access and service functions behind the scenes while setting the stage for a dramatic and exciting patron experience out front. The program includes 2,002 guestrooms in the 43-story hotel tower, a 125,000-sf gaming floor, 11 restaurants, night clubs, and 11 retail boutiques. The hotel podium includes a 50,000-sf enclosed pool and spa and a 70,000-sf concert/entertainment event space.
Cope Linder’s relationship with the Borgata has continued with numerous ongoing venue improvements and renovations including the Mixx nightclub, the B-Bar ultra lounge, Bobby Flay Steak restaurant, and others.
In its entirety, Borgata, its phased expansion, and The Water Club, represents over $2 billion in building and site construction.
Cope Linder Architects comprised one half of BLT/CLA Joint Venture, which served as executive architect with Laurence Lee Associates as interior designer.
